Lighthouse Baptist Church, where the Light of the Gospel shines brightly by God’s grace through the studying, teaching, and preaching of God’s Word rightly divided. We proclaim salvation by faith in Christ alone and are committed to rightly dividing the word of truth as fundamental, dispensational, and pre-millennial believers.

The following summary of our core beliefs is offered to help you understand who we are and what we teach. At Lighthouse Baptist Church, we hold to the clear biblical truth that we are living in the Dispensation of the Grace of God, a period in which God’s dealings with humanity differ from His instructions in other times throughout Scripture.
We affirm that the Apostle Paul is the divinely appointed apostle for this present age, and that the doctrine he received directly from the risen Christ is the pattern believers are called to follow today. His Spirit‑inspired writings reveal God’s grace program, the gospel by which we are saved, and the instructions for Christian living in this present dispensation.
Our desire is that every believer grows in understanding, rightly dividing the Word of Truth, and walking confidently in the grace God has made known through Paul’s ministry.
2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
We are committed to rightly dividing the Bible so we can clearly understand the doctrines God has given for believers living in this present Dispensation of Grace. This means recognizing the difference between what God is actively doing today and what He instructed in other dispensations throughout Scripture.
Right division does not mean ignoring any part of the Bible. All of God’s Word is inspired and “profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). Every book of Scripture has purpose, value, and application.
However, we also acknowledge that God has given commands in the past—and will give instructions in the future—that are not in operation today. Paul makes this distinction clear in passages such as Colossians 2:16–17, where he explains that certain ordinances were shadows of things to come and are not binding on the Body of Christ in this age.
Our goal is to handle the Scriptures with clarity and reverence, understanding what God has revealed for us to believe, teach, and practice today.

- Our Pastor is honored as a teacher and servant, not a priestly authority.
- We reject and expose heresies (e.g., universalism.)
- We equip and mature believers for ministry—not just attendance.
- Christ is fully divine in every sense, and we uphold the Triune Godhead.
- We use Traditional Hymns that glorify God.
